About five years ago, Tracy Lynn discovered a creative outlet for her inner artist. After weeks of juggling contractors, drawing up kitchen plans and choosing everything from wall colors to window treatments and flooring; the house was finally turned into a home. On time and within budget. The finished home was Tracy Lynn's and it became a visual testament to her ability to design, coordinate and complete a remodel from the ground up. The home has become a showcase to her talent and good taste as an interior designer.

"I walked into her home and loved what she had done," said Kim Santos. "I want your style in my house and I'm going to be your first client." Santos was her first client and in 2002, Tracy Lynn created Style On a Shoestring. After working from referral to referral, Lynn and her company have become a respected and recognized name in San Diego Interior Design.

Style On a Shoestring has grown and now, in addition to Lynn, includes five independent design consultants, each bringing their own special ideas and experience to the company. Lynn keeps her company philosophy of a hands-on approach by overseeing and signing off on all design projects.

Style On a Shoestring recently won the Service Excellence Award given by Angie's List for 2007. Less than 5 percent of businesses on Angie's List qualify for this award.

Lynn is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento. She currently resides in the San Diego area with her husband, Brian and two daughters.
