Choosing Paint

Choosing paint can make a room.  Getting it right is not that easy.  Many people think that choosing paint is one of the first things to do when decorating a new area.  Actually it is the last thing that we do in our design process.  There are a million colors or close to that anyway out there and they can really make or break a room.  This is an area worth getting some help no matter who you are.  We as designers know how important it is to get objective eyes on our “own” projects and even in our “own” homes.  Remember paint last if you can after you’ve done all your designing…..if you can’t wait go neutral and add some splashes of color later.

  1. I firmly beleive that color and paint are the key element to great design! Painting can be a costly expense and the selection of the wrong color can be a waste of good money. Not to menton it can effect the look you had hoped to achieve in your home. Take the time to make a great color choice, use samples and paint them on your walls prior to painting the entire room and if you can, hire a professional to help you with this process.
